I had my Fuqua interview (off-campus) with an alumnus the morning of February 26th. It was very conversational. He hadn’t read my resume before the interview. Here are the questions I remember (He didn’t read from a script, and didn’t take notes)
- Tell me about yourself
- Why MBA
- Why Fuqua compared to other top schools
- How do you deal with a conflict in a team
- How do you deal with a team member who doesn’t communicate with others
- How do you deal with a team member who doesn’t pull his weight
- Tell me about an ethical dilemma you’ve faced
- Tell me about a setback/failure/something you have done and that you regret now
- What is your leadership style
- Tell me about a leadership experience outside work
- Is there anything else you want to discuss
- Do you have any questions.
The whole interview lasted 45 m: 30 mn + 15 for my questions.
