Well,i was interviewed by Ms. Ivy Yang(Marketing Manager,CEIBS) and Prof. Kim Tae Yeol(Pof. of Management)The interview lasted for 35 mins approx.They were quite open and friendly.The questions were general without too much grilling :
1.Describe your life both in professional and social aspects?
2.What achievements led to your work promotion (i mentioned in my essays that i got promoted recently)?
3.What leadership style do i follow,Cite an example?
4.How do i check on my dealership personnel loyalty(i come from channel sales background) ?
5. If my dealer team were to give feedback on my personal strengths and weaknesses what would it be?
6. Why have i chosen to apply only in A-PAC B-schools?
7. Why am i opting for MBA only at this juncture esp. when i have received a promotion recently?
8.If any company is to invest in the industry i am currently working in, what are three most important aspects they should look into?
9.Any questions?
My experience:
I had a bad start.I had so much stuff to talk in the first two que. that they could not give me time to cover everything and sum it up which bugged me whole time.They had to interrupt and move on with another que. However,i improved my pace and did answer well in the later part.Also, i did not prepare for i/v and took a risk of giving an impromptu performance.I guess, the risk did not pay off that well.
