Hello and welcome to Fridays From the Frontline, Clear Admit’s weekly perusal of the peripatetic top business school blogs. This week, 2016 applicants continue to reflect on the application and interview process, while current MBA students are taking some time to update on the semester and exciting school-based projects.
Tuck bound Domotron gives a great perspective on the elements of the application packet, and focuses particularly on how the GMAT score factors into the target school’s evaluation process. Sarah’sMBAJourney debriefs her Duke interview at a Starbucks in London, while sharing that the Clear Admit Interview and School Guides proved tremendously helpful in her preparation. Meanwhile, Sarah is about to embark on her first road trip in the US, as she visits Duke and HBS. Travel tips and suggestions are appreciated!
As for students currently on campus, 2 Years at HBS ’15 has, as always, an informative and interesting account of the FIELD program’s team business plan competition. Brad Fris INSEAD ’14, shares his perspective on the intensity of the INSEAD experience. Meanwhile at Fuqua, Trevor McKinnon’s ’15 partner shares her experience of being married to a first year MBA-er, while handling the move to Duke, and a family to care for. Fortunately, Team Fuqua has proven to be a wonderfully supportive environment. Across the country at UCLA Anderson, Alena Kostenkova’15 highlights the most memorable experiences of her first half year.
And that’s all the news for this week’s edition of Fridays From The Frontline. As March certainly came in like a lion, we hope it pressauges a swift arrival of April’s spring weather. We also hope that applicants continue to update us with information about statuses and decisions, and that current students also update their blogs with the latest from their campus and classroom lives.
