To all those who submitted Round 2 applications to Harvard Business School (HBS) earlier this week, congratulations! We hope you’ve taken a deep breath and done a little something to celebrate the culmination of what we know was likely a lot of hard work. You can rest assured that your application is now in the hands of the HBS admissions team, led by Managing Director of MBA Admissions and Financial Aid Dee Leopold.
“The Round 2 application deadline went smoothly and we are now in hibernation-mode and happily reading,” Leopold wrote in a post today to her Admissions Director blog. She devoted the remainder of her post to sharing details about the next big step in the application process, the interview. Interviews will begin on February 12th and continue through early March, Leopold wrote. The will be conducted on the HBS campus as well as in the following hub cities: Shanghai, Tokyo, Dubai, Mumbai, London, Paris, Menlo Park and New York City.
Applicants will be notified of their invitation to interview by email; this email will also include detailed information on how to sign up for an interview. Leopold did not provide information on when invitations to interview would be extended, so stay tuned.
If you are among those lucky enough to score an interview, remember that Clear Admit offers a range of resources to help you prepare. You can purchase our HBS Interview Guide, which includes HBS-specific strategy for preparing for the interview, an evaluation of how the Admissions Committee weighs the interview and a comprehensive list of sample questions consistently asked. You can also share your own interview experiences and learn from those of fellow applicants as part of our Interview Reports page.
Again, congrats to all who submitted applications for Round 2 at HBS, and best of luck in these next several weeks.
