The following MIT Sloan MBA interview report was submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 1 applicant who was admitted. Congratulations to them!
I had the interview in Hong Kong with an admission officer. It was NOT a blind interview – the admission officer has read the whole application package.
It was a 45 minutes session with 30 minutes of interview and 15 minutes of Q&A.
The interview was very conversational and went well.
1. Any update in your application since submission?
2. What do you do in your current job?
3. Career Goal/Why Sloan/why MBA?
4. Tell me about a time that you led an initiative (behavior question)
5. Anything else that you wish you could include in the CV?
5. Any questions for me?
I think the interview is about demonstrating personality and fit, so my advice is to be yourself and the best side of yourself.
I was a bit surprised that there was only one behavior question though.
Result: admitted
