It was a blind interview. Lasted for about 45 mins.
Questions:
1. Leadership experience – explained about one of the major projects I worked on.
Many follow up questions on the same. He asked about the performance of this project – told him some numbers. He said that was not good performance – I was already aware of that and spoke about the future enhancements that were being done to market it better – He looked convinced
2. Why MBA?
3. Short term goal and some follow up questions?
4. Long term goal and some follow up questions?
5. Why Kellogg?
6. Why MBA at this point and not later?
7. Why not just stay in India and do a one year MBA from ISB? Won’t that be easier? – I said I was looking for a two year program with a more hands on curriculum – He looked convinced
8. Something not in your resume? – Spoke about my passion for art and food blogging – Seemed interested – I also told about my desire of having an art café in the future – some discussions around that. As for my love for food, he mentioned that there are lots of good restaurants around Kellogg.
9. Any questions for me? – Asked about some clubs and the exchange programs – Answered
Overall it was a good experience.
