CA: You mentioned there’s been a huge shift toward greater hiring by tech firms in recent years. How has this impacted your overall career services offerings? Are there specific programs, interview prep, etc. for students targeting tech jobs?

LK: Tech specifically has become such an employer of choice. As a result, our Tech Club has become one of the most popular clubs on campus, and it has had fabulous leadership. What they have developed with their IPGs has been very exciting. So it’s not only one-on-one work with the coaches that Kellogg students interested in tech get, but also what comes out of that ecosystem with the clubs and students-led groups.

CA:
Same question with regard to students who are interested in social impact careers: Is this growing? How are you responding from a career services perspective?

LK: We have certainly seen students’ desire to connect mission with business operations grow in the past five years. More and more students want to work for a company that does good or whose mission they can really stand behind. We have a very large Net Impact Club along with more students seeking social impact internships and pursuing social impact jobs for full-time employment.
