The following U. Chicago Booth interview questions and report were submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 1 applicant. Good luck to them!
The interview was pretty standard and straightforward: walk me through your résumé, several behavioral-based questions, some follow-ups. The questions focused on challenges, overcoming difficulties, working with teams, and accomplishments. Again, I felt it was very straightforward and I felt comfortable with all of the questions.
My interviewer was a 2nd year student going into product management, which made it easy for me as a prospective brand manager to build rapport. She asked if there is anything else that she/the adcom should know about me — I used that to hit some information that didn’t come up in the course of the interview. Definitely go in with some questions to ask them — it helps build rapport and show your knowledge about the school.
The interview was in a private, small room with a table between two chairs. It was blind — she had my résumé, but I’m not sure if she reviewed it beforehand. My interviewer was friendly and eager to talk to me at put me at ease. Made me want to be a part of Booth that much more!!
