With a whole extra day to recover after New Year’s Eve festivities, we trust that those of you working toward the Round 2 application deadline for Harvard Business School (HBS) are only too aware that your remaining time is fast ticking away.
HBS Managing Director of MBA Admissions and Financial Aid Chad Losee took to his Director’s Blog today to offer a few things you might want to keep in mind.
- Round 2 Deadline: Tomorrow, January 4th, 12 p.m. EST.
- Round 2 Notification Day: Wednesday, March 22nd
Losee comes off as a quite nice, completely reasonable guy when we’ve spoken to him, and some of the other tidbits in his most recent post seem to bear this up. While he urges applicants to submit their applications as early as they can, he adds, “but rest assured that we will keep the application open after 12 p.m. EST to receive all the applications that are in the process of being submitted.”
He also reassures applicants not to make themselves too crazy in the case that a recommender may be lagging behind just a bit in submitting his or her letter. “Just between you and me (don’t tell your procrastinating recommender), we will continue to accept recommendations all this week,” Losee writes. Although he does add that responsibility for ensuring that both letters come in is ultimately on the applicant.
Losee also took pains to stress that his office is available to answer last-minute questions or concerns, going so far as to list out the phone number (617 495-6128), email ([email protected]) and tech support email ([email protected]) for those who need them.
We’re pretty sure you’re already well acquainted with the many Clear Admit resources available to help you craft the strongest possible HBS application, but just in case, here they are at your fingertips as well.
