The following Cornell Johnson MBA interview questions & report were submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 1 applicant. Good luck to them!
The interview was about 45 minutes in the business school, with a 2nd year student leading it, and an adcom sitting on the side taking notes. The student had seen my résumé before, and had it on him.
They asked the classic questions, such as “Why here? Why MBA? Why now? What will you do with your MBA? What will you bring to the community?” along with a few behavioral and situational questions.
The only curve ball I received was about my low (for the program) GMAT score – he basically asked how I’d ensure I could handle the academic rigor of the school.
