I did an off-campus interview with a 2016 Ross alum in SF. We met in a Starbucks on a Sunday morning, the vibe was very casual and friendly. I wore slacks and a sweater and he was in khakis and a button down. He had my résumé that he had gotten from the interview scheduler and I brought one with me.
1. Walk me through your résumé. Connect the dots for me
2. Why an MBA? Why now? Why Ross?
3. Tell me about a time you lead a team.
4. Tell me about a challenge you faced and how you overcame it.
5. Tell me about a time you worked with a diverse team
6. Teach me something in one minute.
7. What do you do for fun?
After he was finished with his questions I asked a few questions of him and we chatted about Ross, the culture and his job. Overall, I left with a great feeling about the school and the culture. Fingers crossed!
