The following U. Chicago Booth interview questions and report were submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 applicant. Good luck to them!
I’m based in NYC and the interview took place around midtown where I and the interviewer both work. We met up at a coffee shop and had about a 40 min conversation. Both the interviewer and I work in the banking / finance / asset management industry.
The conversation was primarily centered around:
- Why pursue an MBA at all? How important is getting an MBA vs an alternative path?
- What was a tough situation you’ve faced at work and what did you do to resolve it?
- How much do you know about the Booth experience? Why Booth vs some of the other programs you’re applying to?
- If you didn’t get into business school, what would you do?
- We wrapped up with some questions for him about student life, living in Chicago vs NYC, etc.
