The following UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA interview questions & report were submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 applicant. Good luck to them!
I scheduled an on-campus interview during the open season interview period. The environment was extremely relaxed for the duration of my trip – I think this was partly due to the tranquil environment of Chapel Hill. My interviewer explained that it would be a blind interview (she hadn’t seen my application) but she had marked up my résumé with questions.
She asked the following:
- Walk me through your résumé.
- Why an MBA now?
- What are your short-term goals? Long-term goals?
- Explain a time when you took a leadership role within a team.
- Why Kenan-Flagler?
- How will you be involved at the school?
- What questions do you have for me?
The interview lasted a total of 30 minutes (including my questions.) Overall, we had a pleasant conversation and there were not any “surprise” questions. I really enjoyed the campus and facilities. I ended up being offered admission.
