The following UPenn / Wharton interview questions and report were submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 3 applicant. Good luck to them!
The team-based discussion was overall a positive experience. Each of the 6 of us had prepared a one-minute pitch, and after going around the room with our pitches we dove right in to the topic at hand. Our group focused on being structured from the beginning – what are our goals, how should we design this program, what do we need to prove success – and went from there. At the end, we finished with a well thought out presentation in which each of us presented a 30 second component. Key takeaways: don’t be the person who speaks the most or the least, be friendly, don’t make unnecessary comments, and smile.
The 10-minute 1 on 1 with the 2nd-year student was very casual. The student asked me to walk through my resume, asked about what clubs I would join at Wharton, and allowed me to ask some questions as well.
The whole process went by smoothly and quickly.
