The following MIT Sloan admissions interview questions and report were submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 1 MBA applicant. Good luck to them!
My ad-com interviewer was extremely kind, professional, and put me at ease. Interview felt structured but conversational, with a lot of smiling and laughing and positive reinforcement.
Sloan was my favorite interview because the questions are very behavioral, straightforward, and not trying to trick you. Clearly seeking good examples of the qualities that they seek. Some of the questions I got:
- Tell me about a time when you dealt with conflict
- Tell me about a time you had to deal with uncertainty
- What achievement are you most proud of?
- Why Sloan / what has stood out to you about Sloan?
There was also a lot of time for questions about Sloan toward the end. I came w/ very specific and pointed questions that showed
After talking with some other admitted students it was clear that the experience is very consistent — no trick questions, if you know your story cold and are relaxed, you will do great!
