The following MIT Sloan MBA interview questions and report were submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 1 applicant. Good luck to them!
The adcom and I interview in the hotel lobby in HK.
She knew everything about my history, background, and resume.
We started chatting about our mutual background, which was my college neighborhood. Her best friend lives in that area, and how she like the city. Then we went on talking about my past decisions, my career history, why I jumped from this position to that position. How I ended up founding my own startup.
Why MBA, why now, why MIT.
Then for the rest of the interview, she kept asking about my startup, how it operates, what’s going to happen after I go to MBA, etc.
I was able to ask a few questions afterward.
We didn’t discuss the short essay that I submitted 24 hours before the interview.
The talk was casual, and the lobby was quite loud. It lasted for exactly 30 minutes.
