The following U. Chicago Booth MBA admissions interview questions and report were submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 1 applicant. Good luck to them!
Did interview during BoothLive event. Blind interview with a second-year student. I thought it was a very relaxed interview mostly just a free flowing conversation. My interviewer started with an intro of himself and then we started with me doing the same. We spent a good chunk of time talking about my career progression and what I actually did (my job isn’t a traditional MBA feeder job and is very specific to an industry). Spent some time discussing goals, why MBA, why Booth. Then flowed into “fun” questions-discussed my extracurricular activities, times I’ve failed, what my favorite book/movie/music is. Then my questions. Lasted an hour, was a productive and informative interview. Sent an email follow up, but didn’t hear back from my interviewer until I got in. Interview and BoothLive experience sold me on Booth.
