The following Michigan Ross MBA interview questions & report were submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 applicant. Good luck to them!
My interview with Ross took place at a cafe in Delhi with a 2004 alum. This was a ‘blind’ interview, and my interviewer had not gone through my resume before the meeting. The interview lasted 30 mins overall, the first 20 minutes taken up by standard questions as well as some which were more open and exploratory.
– Tell me a little about your professional journey so far.
– What do you like most about your work?
– What are your KPIs?
– What are some of the things about your industry that you really dislike?
– What do you eventually wish to do in life?
– Why MBA?
– Why Ross?
– What’s leadership to you?
– Give the example of someone you see as a good leader.
The last 10 minutes of the interview was a free-wheeling chat about the alum’s own Ross experience and how it changed his life. I had read a lot about the MAP module but to hear about his personal experiences was great.
Not the typical MBA interview though. While I was in formals of course, the alum came wearing a Indian kurta and jeans. Very casual but friendly. All in all, a good experience.
And yes, I got the admit!
