The following Stanford GSB MBA interview questions and report were submitted to Clear Admit by a Round 2 applicant. Good luck to them!
The interview was off-campus for Round 2 with a partner at a finance firm. It lasted about 45 minutes (interviewer was approx. 15 minutes late). Questions:
1) Initiative at work
2) Most difficult project at work
3) Examples of how I have stepped outside my comfort zone
4) College experience
Overall, it was very conversational and the person was extremely friendly. We chatted for about 10 minutes after the interview and the person discussed his/her experience at GSB.
Advice: know your anecdotal stories really well and don’t forget to have fun! Nobody wants to spend an hour interviewing a robot so take it easy and just have a conversation.
