Are you anxiously awaiting an interview invitation after applying in Round 1 this year to Harvard Business School (HBS)? In case you haven’t already heard, HBS has shared details about its upcoming interview notifications.
In a recent post to his Direct from the Director blog, HBS Managing Director of Admissions and Financial Aid shared that the school interviews approximately twice as many candidates as it can ultimately admit.
“Those interview invitations come out in two waves,” Losee wrote. “October 1st and October 4th at noon eastern time.” These dates uphold Clear Admit’s own predictions based on past LiveWire data, as outlined in this recent post: “MBA LiveWire Data Predicts HBS, Wharton, Stanford Interview Invite Dates.”
He also shared that the candidates his team opts not to interview will be notified of their “release” from consideration on October 4th. “Of course we wish we could move more people forward—our hope is that this earlier timing is helpful to you, even if it’s not the hoped for outcome,” he wrote.
So, there you have it! Best of luck in these final weeks of waiting! As always, Clear Admit’s MBA LiveWire is your go-to resource for admissions developments in real time.
