The following UVA Darden MBA interview questions & report were submitted to Clear Admit by an Early Action applicant. Good luck to them!
The interview was a little different from formats at other schools, but it was pretty comfortable. I sat with an admissions team member in his office and we chatted pretty casually. He started out by asking for me to talk about my experience growing up, through college, in my career, and why I want an MBA/why Darden. He let me know I’d have about half an hour to talk about those things and then there would be time for questions. I talked for 30-35 minutes with only 1-2 interjections from the interviewer. It seems like Darden wants you to be pretty self-directed in talking about your story. Afterward, I asked the admissions representative some questions and we had a nice conversation.
Wound up being admitted early action. I recommend familiarizing yourself with Darden’s interview process beforehand and don’t go in expecting it to be a traditional behavioral interview.
