Conducted on-campus interview the day before the Women’s Preview Day. The interviewer was a first-year student. The student was accompanied by an admissions office staff member who seemed to be training the interviewer. The interview took place in the admissions staff member’s office. Both of them had reviewed my resume beforehand and had it on hand, but they hadn’t seen other parts of my application.
The interviewer had a series of questions he needed to get through, but the interview felt informal, more like a conversation. Both the interviewer and the admissions staff member took notes during the interview. The interview lasted ~45 minutes, and I had time to ask questions at the end.
Interview questions included:
– Walk me through your resume.
– What kind of constructive criticism would a client give about you?
– What value do you provide to a team?
– Tell me about a time you worked with a diverse team?
– Why MBA? Why now?
– Why Kellogg?
Along with these were questions that stemmed naturally from our conversation, plus questions about parts of my resume they were interested in learning more about.
