Why business school? Why now?
I was looking to change industries again and I felt that before doing so, I needed the time to explore that new industry, explore different internships, and gain core skills to be successful in the industry. Business school was the perfect platform.

Why LBS? What factors figured most prominently into your decision of where to attend?
After doing my research, talking to alumni and visiting the school, I decided to only apply to LBS. Some of the factors that went into my decision were the conversations I had with the alumni and staff, the location, the clubs on offer, and the focus on careers early on in the program.

What do you think is your most valuable or differentiating contribution to the Class of 2021?
I have lived and worked in a few different countries and have changed industries, so in that respect I can bring that diverse experience to the class.

Fun fact that didn’t get included on your application?
I grew up on a game farm.

Post-MBA career interests?
Retail & luxury management.

Advice to current prospective applicants:
–One thing you would absolutely do again as part of your application process?
Speak to as many alumni as possible.

–One thing you would change or do differently?
Start your applications earlier than you think.

–Part you would have skipped if you could—and what helped you get through it?
Undertaking the admission test (GMAT) at the same time as completing the essays and the rest of the application. Being organized and allowing myself to focus on one aspect at a time helped me.

What is your initial impression of LBS’s students/culture/community?
The word that keeps coming to mind is ‘friendly.’

One thing you have learned about LBS that has surprised you?
LBS has a truly amazing careers platform to help you navigate any questions you have regarding your career.

Thing you are most anxious about in your first year?
Balancing all the commitments whilst trying not to get FOMO.

Thing you are most excited about in your first year?
Getting involved all the clubs especially the Retail & Luxury Goods Club and Women’s Touch Rugby Club.
