My interviewer was an alumnus (19′) and was very nice, open, and friendly. Since we work in the same building, the conversation started off naturally and was a good ice breaker. The first intro was in Japanese, interview was all in English, and QA was in Japanese. It was mostly behavioral questions and we actually spent 20 mins or so on QA. It lasted about 60 mins.
Below is the debrief of the questions he asked.
- What do you want me to ask about you?
- Tell me about a time you worked in a team.
- How did you overcome the challenges you faced with working in a culturally diverse environment?
- How did you persuade the Japanese leaders of your client’s side?
- Tell me about a time you didn’t work well in a team.
- How do you define teamwork?
- How would you make a person in your team who isn’t cooperative to work in a team?
- Tell me about a time you really excelled with your team.
- How do you define teamwork?
- Why MBA?
- Why Ross?
- What do you want to do post-MBA?
- If you were to apply to those PM roles at SFDC or MS now, what would you say?
- What kind of classes do you want to take at Ross?
- Tell me about your mentoring experience.
- Tell me about a time you received negative feedback.
