I interviewed in mid-February with an adcom member for the 1-year MBA program at Cornell.
The interview was conversational and not a stress interview. It lasted for about 30 minutes. The interviewer had read my resume and not essays or other aspects of my application (a semi-blind interview).
Below were the questions she asked:
- Tell me about your journey so far.
- Why MBA? Why now?
- Why Johnson? What motivates you to apply to this school?
- Leadership qualities without examples.
- Anything else you would like us to know?
- Any questions for me?
Interview was very relaxed and easygoing, nothing out of the blue. Just know your story well and read about Johnson and get in touch with alumni/adcom members to know more about the school before your interview.
Final Decision: Admitted
