Chicago Booth Interview Questions & Report: Round 2 / Second-Year Student / Zoom

The interview was conversational like all the other reports. I suspect the Booth interviews vary a bit depending on who you get as the interviewer. I was expecting more questions around “Why MBA, Why Booth, Goals etc.” from the other reports, but the majority of the interview time (30+mins) was spent on behavioral questions in my case. About 10mins was spent on Why MBA, Why Booth etc. and there was some time in the end for my questions.

Questions that I can recall (not necessarily in this order. There was time spent on follow up questions & comments):
-Interviewer introduced themselves and asked me to introduce myself.
-Time you asked for help and how you went about doing it.
-What does a good leader look like and how do they lead?
-Tell me a time you worked with a difficult individual or in a difficult group, how did you go about it?
-Tell me a time you had to manage change.
-Why MBA (this came only at the end)?
-What specifically are you looking to gain from the MBA? (I took this as a prompt to talk about Booth)
-Long term and short term goals?
-What do you help to get involved in outside of class at Booth?
-Questions for the interviewer.

The interviewer was nice, engaged, actively took notes and I enjoyed the experience. Best of luck to everyone!
