The beautiful city of Barcelona is home to the full-time MBA program of Esade. At Esade, MBA students can choose whether they want to complete the MBA program in 12, 15 or 18 months. The school only takes in a maximum of 190 new students each September. The most recent class at Esade has 186 students. Thirty-nine percent of the class is comprised of women. Ninety-five percent of the group is international with 31% of students hailing from Latin America, 28% from Europe and 26% from Asia. Nine percent came from North America, 3% from the Middle East and 1% from Africa.
Forty-one percent of the class has an educational background in economics/management while 37% pursued degrees in engineering. Another 6% had studied law before attending Esade and 5% had pursued the arts. Incoming students have an average GMAT score of 660 or an average GRE score of 160/162. Upon matriculation at Esade, students averaged 29 years in age with 5.7 years of full-time work experience.
