Interviewed in the Round 1 cycle via zoom by a second-year student.
Overall, the interview was fairly laid back because of the student’s personality, but it was very structured.
He read from a list of questions that seemed to have been prepared in advance by the admissions office, and took time to type answers to many of my questions. Most questions were basic, including the following:
– Tell me about yourself.
– Why an MBA?
– Why now?
– Why McCombs?
– What are your short and long term goals?
– Tell us about a time in which you worked on a diverse team.
– What are your strengths and weaknesses?
At the end of the interview, he opened up to questions, and then it was over. Seemed to be a fairly standard interview.
