The University of Virginia Darden School of Business full-time MBA Class of 2023 has broken school records for representation and academic achievement.

The new class includes 52 Consortium members, a record for the program. There are also 15 scholars from Darden’s Future Year Scholars Program. This deferral program invites outstanding college seniors and master’s students, who have not yet entered the workforce, the opportunity to apply to the MBA program early; during the deferral period, Future Year Scholars can network with the Darden community, engage with a mentor, and receive career support.

Representation

International students make up 40% of the class and represent 40 countries. Women comprise 40% of the class, tying the record for the school. The class also boasts 21% US minority student representation, with 19% historically underrepresented minorities among US citizens, both record highs for Darden.
