The interviewer was a friendly second-year student, we started with some small talk. The interview was only based on my resume. It lasted 45 minutes.
I received the following questions:
- Tell me about yourself.
- Why did you choose your first job?
- Tell me about these specific interests on your resume.
- Why Tuck?
- Why is now the right time for an MBA?
- What is your greatest professional accomplishment?
- Tell me about a time you helped someone even when it wasn’t convenient for you.
- Tell me about a time you received feedback.
- How would you contribute to a study group at Tuck?
- What is your biggest regret?
- Is there a book you read recently that you really enjoyed?
- Is there anything else you would like to share about your application?
- What questions do you have for me?
Generally I think it was a relatively standard interview. I was a bit surprised by the question about helping someone when it wasn’t convenient for me because that is also an essay question, but I guess the interviewer wouldn’t have seen my essays.
