Date of interview: Nov 9
Interview atmosphere: Second-years are casual and friendly. Among the group, there is definitely an effort to be friendly and supportive. However, there is always a hint of competition as expected.
Type of interview: Team-based interview followed by a 10-min chat with second years
Interview question: Why MBA and why is Wharton the ideal place to do the MBA?
Commentary: Team-based discussion went pretty well with robust time management. Everyone had a chance to speak up, but you could see some individuals getting annoyed/upset that their choice of country was not picked. I am surprised that some candidates prioritized having sufficient airtime to show their own skills than teamwork. Nevertheless, the overall experience is positive and really shows how much emphasis Wharton puts on a collaborative community.
