Meet some new members of the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business Class of 2024 in this edition of Real Humans: MBA Students.

220 full-time MBA students matriculated at McCombs in the fall of 2022. Women comprise 35 percent of the class and 28 percent are international. U.S. minority students make up 36 percent of the class’s U.S. citizens and permanent resident.

During their undergraduate years, Texas McCombs MBAs averaged a GPA of 3.48. Forty percent earned degrees in STEM. A third hold degrees in business/economics and 15 percent had studied humanities. Eleven percent were first-generation college graduates in their families. Thirteen percent held advanced degrees.

Before arriving to campus, Texas McCombs MBAs accumulated an average of 5.7 years’ professional experience. When it came time to take the GMAT, the class averaged a score of 706. The middle 80 percent of scores ranged from 660 to 750. For those who opted to take the GRE, they landed averages of 160 Verbal and 159 Quant.
