Alum was very responsive and friendly when we set up the virtual interview. When the interview started, he set the stage and expressed that he was trying to create a low-stress, casual conversation. Also, he emphasized strongly that his notes on the interview were just a small part of my application and that the Kellogg Adcom are very holistic in how they review candidates. We had a good conversation that flowed through questions that came up naturally–no surprises. The questions were:
1. Walk me through your resume.
2. Why MBA?
3. Why Kellogg?
4. What do you see yourself doing in 5-10 years?
5. What’s your short-term goal after Kellogg?
6. Describe a time you worked in a diverse team.
7. Questions for me?
He wrapped up his questions after 30 min and we chatted about my questions for another 10.
