We welcome some new students of the Boston College Carroll School of Management MBA Class of 2025 to this installment of Real Humans: MBA Students.

Eighty-six students matriculated into the Carroll MBA program in the fall of 2023 at a 56 percent acceptance rate. Twenty-nine percent are women and 27 percent are international. Twenty-seven percent of U.S. students identify as African-American, Hispanic, Asian, or Native American.

During their undergraduate years, Carroll MBA students had an average GPA of 3.22. Twenty-one percent had earned degrees in business and the same percentage had studied humanities/social sciences. Ten percent pursued degrees in engineering and nine percent each in economics or finance. Twelve percent had double majors.

Prior to joining Boston College Carroll, students accumulated an average of 4.8 years of work experience. When it came time to take the GMAT, BC Carroll MBA students averaged a score of 643 with the middle 80 percent range landing at 581 to 680. For those who chose to take the GRE, they averaged 311 overall.
