The interview was pretty laid back. They’ve read through the application (Resumes, Essays, Pick 6, etc.) It was about 22 minutes long, then I received about 8 minutes for questions.
Here are the questions:
- Explain your roles.
- What was a project where you’ve encountered a failure?
- What was the most challenging project you’ve done?
- What is a positive trait your colleagues would describe you as? What is a negative one?
- What is another leadership trait that you think is most important, aside from the ones already described?
- Why an MBA at this time?
- What are your post-MBA plans?
- If you start in the Fall, how do you plan to tackle the recruitment season for the summer?
- What resources do you plan to utilize at Stern?
- How do you plan to contribute to the Stern community?
- Aside from all the research you’ve done, what are some things you did not expect from Stern?
