We head to Seattle, Washington, to meet some new members of the full-time MBA Class of 2025 at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business for this edition of Real Humans: MBA Students.
111 students joined the full-time MBA Class of 2025 at Foster. Women comprise 47 percent of the class and 56 percent are international. Twenty-one percent of new students are Washington State residents. Fifty-three percent of U.S. students identify as students of color and 24 percent as underrepresented students of color.
During their undergraduate years, Foster MBAs earned a median GPA of 3.3. Thirty-four percent of the class had majored in engineering. Twenty-two percent had studied business. Eleven percent earned degrees in economics while 10 percent majored in math & science. On average, students are age 29 and have six years of work experience. The median GMAT for the class was 710. For those who opted to take the GRE, their median scores landed at 164 Quant and 158 Verbal.
