Interviewed with AdCom. Interview was largely reflective of other MIT Sloan reports that I’ve read on here (except for one point, detailed below) – predictable question set, to-the-point, with the interviewer remaining quite stoic the whole time.
Surprisingly, the interviewer did not ask me about either of my pre-interview essays!
Questions were as follows:
1. Have there been any changes to your application?
2. Tell me about a moment that you are most proud of.
3. Describe your leadership style, and give me an example.
4. Tell me about a difficult interaction at work.
5. Tell me about a lesson you’ve learned over the past few years at [Current Employer].
6. Tell me about a time you fixed a misunderstanding / mistake.
7. Is there anything else you want to highlight?
8. Why MBA and why Sloan?
9. Any questions for me?
Overall, it was a pleasant interview; the interviewer was nice and I never felt like she was grilling me. She was curious to learn more about my background.
Good luck!
