I had my interview with a current adcom at UNC Kenan-Flagler via Zoom. The interviewer made me feel really comfortable and we both talked about our hobbies in the first 5-7 mins
Following questions were asked:
- Walk me through your resume.
- How will you use your MBA to reach your career goals?
- Share a tough team situation and your role in resolving it.
- What makes you unique at UNC Kenan-Flagler?
- What sets this school apart from others you’re considering?
- How will you contribute to the school’s culture outside the classroom?
- Tell me about a situation showing your commitment to diversity.
- Any questions for us?
The interview was surprisingly chill. They weren’t just ticking off questions, but really digging into who I am. It felt like they genuinely cared about finding a good fit for their program. Not shocked by the teamwork and diversity emphasis, it aligns with their vibe as per their materials. The questions mirrored what they value in candidates – not just brains, but also people who vibe with their community spirit.
