Why did you make the decision to attend business school? Why now?
I have always valued education and personal development. I was excelling in my professional career, but knew that I was missing out on accomplishing a big personal goal of getting this degree. I recently moved from Cincinnati to Columbus through a work promotion, but I felt that I needed to take a leap and start the process of joining the program.

Why did you choose Ohio Fisher? What factors figured most prominently into your decision of where to attend?
The Ohio State University is not only the best school in Ohio, but the best school in the country. This program allows for excellent instruction, networking, career progression assistance and community of people that want you to succeed.

When making my final decision, I thought carefully on the location of the school, ranking of the program, the quality of education and the long-term growth that I would be on the receiving end from attending.

What do you think is your most valuable or differentiating contribution to the Class of 2026?
My 6 years of professional experience operating businesses and wholesaling vehicles allows me to bring unique perspectives.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that didn’t get included on your application:
I love to travel and workout!

Post-MBA career interests:
I am seeking to enter strategy consulting or banking!

Advice for Current Prospective Applicants:
–What is one thing you would absolutely do again as part of your application process?
My in-person interview compared to virtual.

–What is one thing you would change or do differently?
I would have finetuned my resume more.

–What is one part you would have skipped if you could—and what helped you get through it?
I would have skipped the Kira interview. Pre-recorded interviews make me nervous but I practiced my interview questions and did not begin until I was confident!

What is your initial impression of the OSU Fisher students/culture/community?
My initial impression is that the community is very welcoming, supportive and genuine.

What is one thing you have learned about Ohio Fisher that has surprised you?
I am not necessarily surprised but very pleased to know that I am not just a number in the program. The size of the MBA cohort allows for ample assistance for every student.

What is one thing you are most anxious about in your first year?
I am most anxious about getting back into the flow of being a student since I have not been in an academic setting for 6 years.

What is one thing you are most excited about in your first year?
Working with my new colleagues so we can all grow and reach our first-year goals!
