Why did you make the decision to attend business school? Why now?
I wanted to deepen my understanding of brand development and consumer behavior, especially through the lens of data-driven decision-making. After working in both client management and brand strategy, I realized that pursuing an MBA would help me bridge the gap between consumer insights and brand strategy at a higher level. The timing felt right as I was ready to pivot into a role that focused more on innovation and consulting, and Boston College’s program aligned perfectly with my goals.

Why did you choose Boston College Carroll? What factors figured most prominently into your decision of where to attend?
Boston College Carroll stood out to me for its unique blend of analytical rigor and its deep commitment to values-driven leadership. It’s not just about understanding numbers—it’s about how you apply them to make a positive, strategic impact. The close-knit community, access to Boston’s thriving business scene, and the program’s emphasis on collaboration and personal growth made it clear that BC would provide the perfect environment to nurture my ambitions.

What do you think is your most valuable or differentiating contribution to the Boston College Carroll MBA Class of 2026?
I bring a strong foundation of real-world experience in both strategy and execution, having managed large-scale campaigns and mentored teams to uncover data-driven insights. But beyond the numbers, I am a connector. I founded cultural organizations, led initiatives around gender equity, and have always prioritized building communities that thrive on diverse perspectives. I’m excited to share this blend of analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and passion for inclusion with my peers.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that didn’t get included on your application:
A fun fact about me is that I know the first two lines of the Aeneid by heart. It’s a small nod to my love of literature and ancient epics!

Post-MBA career interests:
My post-MBA career goal is to become a consumer insights and marketing strategist, driving growth for global leaders and industry disruptors through human-centered design. I aim to address the gaps in traditional analysis by capturing diverse, nuanced consumer experiences and developing strategies that reflect the true complexity of the market. I want to help companies not just adapt to market changes, but be the ones driving it with purpose and insight.

Advice for Current Prospective Applicants:
What is one thing you would absolutely do again as part of your application process?
Talking to students and alumni! Nothing beats hearing real stories from people who have walked the same path. Those conversations helped me feel confident about my decision and understand how the program aligned with my values and goals.

What is one thing you would change or do differently?
One thing I would do differently is apply earlier. Once I knew where I wanted to attend, I should have submitted my application right away. Balancing full-time work and applying was intense, and applying earlier would have given me more time and less pressure throughout the process.

What is one part you would have skipped if you could—and what helped you get through it?
I would have skipped studying for the GMAT! I didn’t realize I qualified for a waiver based on my undergraduate GPA and work experience until I called the Office of Admissions. Had I known earlier, I could have saved a lot of time and energy. What helped me get through it was the eventual realization that I didn’t need the GMAT after all.

What is your initial impression of the Boston College Carroll MBA students/culture/community?
The community here is incredibly supportive and driven. It’s not about competition; it’s about lifting each other up. From day one, you feel like you’re part of something bigger, with classmates who push you to grow but are always ready to help you along the way.

What is one thing you have learned about Boston Carroll that has surprised you?
I was surprised by just how collaborative the culture is. It’s not just talk—there’s a true spirit of teamwork and genuine interest in each other’s success. You can feel it in every conversation, project, and class interaction.

What is one thing you are most anxious about in your first year?
Mastering the art of balance—between academics, networking, career-building, and personal life. There’s so much I want to soak in, and I’m eager to manage my time in a way that allows me to maximize the experience.

What is one thing you are most excited about in your first year?
I’m excited to dive into projects that allow me to take what I’m learning in class and apply it to real-world challenges. Also, building meaningful connections with classmates who are just as passionate and ambitious about making a difference!
