Why did you make the decision to attend business school? Why now?
I decided to attend business school to enhance myself overall and widen the concepts of business strategies. With nine years of experience as a Product Support Manager, I have developed strong technical and interpersonal skills; therefore, it was the right time to dive deep into understanding business and strategies core principles to take it to the next level.

Why did you choose UGA Terry? What factors figured most prominently into your decision of where to attend?
I had a couple of schools in mind, and UGA was one of them. Why I inclined towards UGA is because they are a small program and that would help me get a personalized experience. They also provide flexibility to choose courses which is great for students. They have a Capstone corporate consulting project where you get to work in a real-life Industry environment and gain more relevant experience. They have an amazing Alumni network which excels in readiness to help you. They have also climbed the ladder of ranking which means great opportunities. Lastly, they offered me a good scholarship, which indeed made my decision easier!

What do you think is your most valuable or differentiating contribution to the University of Georgia Terry MBA Class of 2026?
I believe being a Product manager and leading a global team, my ability to work with both technologies along with business strategy with stakeholders to provide a perspective on how data and technical solutions drive business success will help me set apart. This role allowed me to lead a global project, providing support to business clients and driving the company to growth. I look forward to contributing to the diverse MBA program.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that didn’t get included on your application:
I’m a dedicated CrossFit athlete, and I train in high-intensity fitness, which not only keeps me physically fit but also instills discipline, resilience, and teamwork in me, which I apply to both my professional and personal life.

Post-MBA career interests:
Senior Leadership roles, Product management, and strategy roles. I want to be a part of projects that focus on market trends and a sustainable future.

Advice for Current Prospective Applicants:
–What is one thing you would absolutely do again as part of your application process?
I would engage with the Admission committee, current students, and Alumni. They are really the best people to tell you about the UGA world. This experience helped me understand the culture and values of the program and helped me modify my application to reflect how I would fit in. This also made me confident about my decision.

–What is one thing you would change or do differently?
Plan my time for the process. While I managed to do everything on time, giving myself more time would have allowed me to reflect more and stress less. Make sure you give yourself enough time for test preparation like the GRE/ GMAT and apply at targeted deadlines

–What is one part you would have skipped if you could—and what helped you get through it?
I don’t think I would like to skip anything. The entire application process journey gave me an opportunity to look back and reflect on how far I have come. Each step, beginning from resume prep, writing essays, and securing recommendations to preparing for interviews, challenged me but helped me identify my strengths and areas for growth. It was a time of self-discovery, helping me navigate between my achievements and future goals.

What is your initial impression of the UGA Terry students/culture/community?
I am just fascinated by how incredible the Terry family is. You can reach out to alumni, current students, and professors, and everybody is ready to help you to the best of their ability.

What is one thing you have learned about UGA Terry that has surprised you?
UGA provides you with practical learning while in the course. Terry gives you the opportunity to work on real-world problems and case competitions. Most colleges are focused on theoretical knowledge, but Terry helps us build practical skills which prepare us for real world. I also learned Terry offers to help alumni if they are looking for a career/job change, which is something I have not seen before. This surprised me!

What is one thing you are most anxious about in your first year?
It is about finding the right balance between academics and events; both are equally important for your successful MBA completion. Staying organized, having a timetable, and the ability to stretch will really come in handy. The first semester is where you need to just go for with everything you have as you prepare for exams and search for summer internships.

What is one thing you are most excited about in your first year?
Being an international student, experiencing a study program in a different country is exciting & challenging. Collaborating with diverse backgrounds and learning about their culture is also exciting. I am also excited to work on projects that challenge me to apply my skills in new contexts and allow me to be more creative. I am sure this will prepare me for easing into senior executive roles.
