Image for Michigan Ross MBA Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Alum / Zoom

My interviewer was in the same city as me, and was an alum. Interview took place over the weekend. Questions consistent with those I have seen on here, and generally followed the flow below:

  • Walk me through your resume.
  • Why an MBA?
  • ST/LT goals?
  • Why Ross?
  • What classes would you like to take at Ross?
  • What clubs would you like to take at Ross?
  • Tell me about a time (TMAT) you had to change your approach due to a shift in project scope.
  • TMAT when you failed and what you learned from that experience.
  • TMAT when you had to change someone else’s beliefs or deal with difference of opinion.

Do you have any last questions for me?

Interviewer was friendly and conversational. It lasted exactly 40 minutes. He seemed to really like Ross and the experience.
