What do you like most about the December holidays?
What I like most about the December holidays is the rare opportunity to pause and reflect, appreciating simple joys like sharing food with loved ones, reconnecting with friends, and soaking in the festive spirit. It’s a reminder to celebrate resilience and hope.

Which song is a must-have on your holiday playlist?
Shchedryk (Carol of the Bells) is a must-have on my holiday playlist. Composed by Ukrainian Mykola Leontovych in 1914, it’s a beautiful adaptation of a folk melody that has become one of the most iconic holiday tunes, featured in countless movies, including Home Alone. Its universal appeal makes it timeless.

What is your favorite holiday movie or book?
A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Its timeless story of redemption, compassion, and the spirit of giving perfectly embodies the essence of the holiday season. It’s a reminder to reflect on what truly matters and to carry the holiday spirit throughout the year.

This or that?

Christmas PJs
Giving gifts
Real Tree
Hot Chocolate
Holiday Party

Do you have any campus community events or traditions at your school for the holidays?
At Berkeley Haas, the holiday season brings a sense of togetherness and celebration across our diverse community. Students often organize gatherings that reflect the rich variety of cultural traditions represented in our class. These events offer opportunities to share festive food, exchange stories, and enjoy moments of connection amidst the busy MBA schedule. It’s a time when the collaborative and supportive spirit of Haas truly shines, making the campus feel like a home away from home.

Do you set New Year’s resolutions? If so, what’s one for the upcoming year?
Yes, I set New Year’s resolutions, and for the upcoming year, my focus is to push my venture to the next level. Whether it’s building the right team, refining the concept, or securing key advisors, I’m committed to turning my idea into a scalable reality. This year is all about making bold moves to create a meaningful impact and laying the groundwork for a venture that addresses real-world challenges. It’s an exciting time, and I’m ready to fully embrace the journey ahead.

Advice or well wishes for current MBA applicants:
To all the current MBA applicants—stay true to yourself. Reflect deeply on your journey, what drives you, and the impact you want to make. The application process isn’t just about impressing a school; it’s about discovering who you are and where you want to go. Remember, the right program will resonate with your values and aspirations, so trust the process and believe in your story.
