The Duke Fuqua MMS Class of 2025 is a testament to the program’s commitment to cultivating leaders who value collaboration, embrace diversity, and pursue excellence. This year’s cohort features a vibrant mix of professionals from varied academic, cultural, and professional backgrounds, united by their drive to grow, lead, and innovate.

Take Obianuju (Uju) Madu, a marketing graduate from the University of Notre Dame and former analyst at BlackRock. Uju chose Fuqua to bridge the knowledge gaps she identified in her early career, drawn by the program’s innovative team-based learning model. Her corporate experience, coupled with her passion for strategic growth in financial services, sets her apart as a resourceful and insightful contributor to her class. Next, Jan Delkeskamp, a former collegiate swimmer and finance professional from Germany, embodies the global mindset Fuqua values. His 15 years of competitive swimming, including leading national championship teams, have honed his ability to thrive under pressure and foster collaboration. His aspirations to mentor future leaders align with Fuqua’s emphasis on leadership development.

Closer to home, Stephanie Zempolich, a Duke undergraduate alumna and former ROTC cadet, offers a unique perspective shaped by her time in team and leadership roles. Her resilience and drive, shaped by overcoming challenges, guide her pursuit of a career in marketing and consulting. Finally, TJ Clayton from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, seamlessly blends entrepreneurial ambition with a commitment to community impact. A neuroscience graduate with a passion for startups, he co-founded Vendle, a venture transforming the home services industry. TJ’s dedication to giving back shines through his involvement in Fuqua’s diversity and inclusion initiatives.

What binds these students together is their embrace of Fuqua’s collaborative culture, a hallmark of the MMS experience. Continue on as we dive deeper into the stories of these remarkable individuals and explore how Fuqua is preparing them to shape the future of business.
