Why did you make the decision to attend business school? Why now?
I wanted to transition my career into the finance industry and believed that pursuing an MBA would be the most straightforward way to achieve this. It feels like a stroke of luck to be where I am today. It all started when I attended an MBA career fair in Mexico City. There, I had the opportunity to meet Lindsay from the admissions department, who provided me with all the necessary information and encouraged me to apply. Taking a leap of faith, I decided to heed her advice, and now, here I am.
Why did you choose UCI Merage? What factors figured most prominently into your decision of where to attend?
The reputation of the school, the scholarships they have for international students, the employment rate and average salary of grad students, and the location.
What do you think is your most valuable or differentiating contribution to the Class of 2026?
I have international experience from working and studying abroad. I have participated in diverse and inclusive teams, which has helped me develop a variety of skills. This experience has enabled me to think outside the box when facing problems, and I always strive to come up with alternative solutions.
