Why did you make the decision to attend business school? Why now?
I decided to attend business school to transition my career towards a more impactful direction where marketing serves as a tool for education and meaningful social change. With my background in global marketing and experience in promoting inclusive cultures within the companies I am a part of, I am motivated to deepen my understanding of how brands can foster genuine connections with consumers. Now is the right time because I am at a crossroads in my career, where I seek to align my professional trajectory with my personal values and the evolving media landscape. An MBA will provide me with the necessary skills, network, and leadership development to make this transition strategically.

Why did you choose Esade? What factors figured most prominently into your decision of where to attend?
I chose Esade because the school’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and a global perspective in business is exactly what I’m looking for. I love that Esade focuses on creating thoughtful leaders and fostering a collaborative learning environment—that really spoke to me and aligned with my desired career trajectory. Plus, the hands-on learning approach is exactly what I felt like I needed to refine my vision of using marketing to drive positive change.

What do you think is your most valuable or differentiating contribution to the Class of 2026?
I believe my most valuable contribution to the Class of 2026 will be the skills I have gained from my experience in building inclusive and collaborative cultures at Warner Bros. Discovery and NBCUniversal, where I led initiatives focused on diversity and positive change. I’m also eager to share my background in entertainment marketing, which brings a unique perspective on creativity, storytelling, and engaging diverse audiences. I feel that my passion for community-building, belief in the power of collaboration, and industry knowledge will help enrich the dynamic and diverse learning environment at Esade.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself that didn’t get included on your application:
I’m a big movie and TV buff! I’m fascinated by the history of media and love exploring all types of genres, from classic films to the latest binge-worthy series. I enjoy diving into different storytelling styles and understanding how media shapes culture and connects people.

Post-MBA career interests:
After my MBA, I want to shift gears into a role that blends marketing and social impact by working with brands that are all about making a positive difference. In the short term, I see myself leading marketing campaigns that build trust and create communities around these kinds of brands, using content to really engage people. Long-term, I’d love to head up a team or start something of my own that uses marketing as a tool for connection, especially in a global, multicultural context.

Advice for Current Prospective Applicants:
–What is one thing you would absolutely do again as part of your application process?
I would trust my gut and apply! In the past, I hesitated to apply for this program because it never felt like the “right” time, but I’ve learned there will never be a perfect moment to uproot your life for something new. Sometimes you just have to trust your instincts and go for it!

–What is one thing you would change or do differently?
I would start the application process even earlier to give myself the time to approach each part with more intention and less stress. I applied in the midst of planning my wedding, and it was hectic! Starting earlier would have allowed me to enjoy the process more and reduce the pressure.

–What is one part you would have skipped if you could—and what helped you get through it?
If I could have skipped one part, it would have been the GRE! Timed tests are not my strong suit, so I had to be very intentional about my preparation. What really helped me get through it was signing up for a course that broke down my studying into daily lessons and kept me accountable.

What is your initial impression of the Esade students/culture/community?
My initial impression is that the Esade community truly lives up to its reputation for being relationship-driven. The staff has been incredibly helpful, and my classmates have all been extremely warm and genuine. It feels like a place where community and support really matter.

What is one thing you have learned about Esade that has surprised you?
I was pleasantly surprised by the degree of resources and focus on individualizing career paths. I knew Esade would help me refine my next career steps, but the level of personalized attention to things like tailoring my resume and LinkedIn profile to attract the right recruiters has been invaluable.

What is one thing you are most anxious about in your first year?
I’m most anxious about getting back into the student mindset. It’s been a while since I was last in a classroom, and I’m a bit nervous about adjusting to the rigorous lifestyle of being a full-time student again.

What is one thing you are most excited about in your first year?
I’m most excited about collaborating with diverse minds! I can’t wait to learn from and grow with my classmates, who come from all over the world. The opportunity to exchange ideas and perspectives with such a diverse group is something I’m really looking forward to.
