Why did you make the decision to attend business school? Why now?
I wanted to complement my technical expertise with business and managerial skills. Having recently completed my engineering studies, I still possess a strong studying mindset, which made it the ideal time for me to pursue further education and attend the school.

I have very good technical and quantitative skills, and I participate a lot in class.

Advice for Current Prospective Applicants:
–What is one thing you would absolutely do again as part of your application process?
Buy a book with advice for application for my specific case. (ex: for me, it was a book on applying to a Master in the US as a French student who went through Prepa + Grande Ecole)
–What is one thing you would change or do differently?
Trying to reach out to current students and Alumni can really help in answering some questions.
–What is one part you would have skipped if you could—and what helped you get through it?
The different application essays/videos can be quite a challenge and take a lot of time. I took it as an opportunity to really understand why I wanted to get into the program myself and what my drivers were.
What is your initial impression of the Carnegie Mellon Tepper MSM students/culture/community?
I liked the atmosphere, I think Basecamp was a great opportunity to bound with many people in Tepper.
What is one thing you have learned about Carnegie Mellon Tepper that has surprised you?
I didn’t expect the proportion on international students to be so high, I enjoy learning about everyone’s path to Tepper.
