We learn more about the Emory Goizueta Master in Management (MiM) directly from new members of the Class of 2025 in this edition of our Real Humans series. Get to know the tight knit community that is a hallmark of the leading business as well as insights into what to expect in admissions and more.

To start, Hailey Hunt, a Boston native and Emory alumna, showcases how non-traditional academic backgrounds can spark an interest in business. Her diverse internship experiences, including roles in policy and marketing, position her to bring innovative problem-solving and collaboration to the inaugural MiM cohort. Then, McKenzi Carter, a former Division I basketball player from Texas applies the teamwork, time management, and resilience gained from her athletic career to the business world. With a goal of becoming a sport psychologist, she aims to help college athletes overcome mental challenges and thrive both on and off the field.

We also hear from Vanessa Edokpa, a Nigerian American from Georgia, who blends creativity and strategic storytelling with her psychology background to pursue a career in digital marketing and brand management. As a content creator and event planner featured in VoyageATL magazine, she contributes a unique perspective on fostering community and building connections. Next, Victoria Aguilar, a Chicago native and first-generation Mexican American, leverages her inquisitive nature and passion for educational equity to shape meaningful discussions within the program. With career interests in higher education and nonprofit management, she’s dedicated to driving inclusion, sustainability, and student wellness. Finally, William Kerscher, a Denver native with aspirations of becoming a physician, bridges healthcare and business through his passion for leadership and service. His experience as a student-athlete and president of Emory’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee equips him to bring valuable insights on teamwork and impact-driven initiatives to the cohort.

Together, the MiM Class of 2025 embodies Goizueta’s values of camaraderie, innovation, and academic excellence. They represent a bright future for leadership across diverse industries, united by their shared commitment to personal and professional growth. Read on for their stories.
