The UCLA Anderson Class of 2024 MBA employment report is now live.
Out of 313 graduates, 273 (or 87.2 percent) sought employment. Roughly 61 percent of those seeking employment received job offers by graduation, and 77.7 percent received an offer by three months of graduation. Job acceptances landed at 76.6 percent by three months after graduation and 85 percent by six months after graduation. Out of the 10.5 percent reporting not seeking employment, 4.1 percent were company sponsored and 2.8 percent started their own businesses. The annual base salary for the class reached an average of $146,526 and median of $142,800.
UCLA resources, including school-facilitated internships, campus recruiting, alumni and classmates, career conferences, and the Parker CMC were responsible for 59.8 percent of job seekers finding work.
Industry and Regional Placement
Consulting was, once again, the top choice for UCLA Anderson MBA graduates at just shy of 25 percent. The grads joining the industry reported a median salary of $175,000. Technology followed at 23.4 percent of the class and a $142,000 median salary. Financial services employers recruited 17.7 percent of the class with a median salary of $175,000. Healthcare jobs account for 9.1 percent at a $140,000 median salary. The entertainment & media industry saw 8.6 percent of the class, who reported a median salary of $137,500.

California stayed home for most UCLA Anderson grads–67.5 percent began their post-MBA careers there. The median salary for graduates in the state landed at $150,000. The next most popular destination for the latest class was the Northeast U.S., at a distant 9.6 percent. They reported a median salary of $142,000. The U.S. West (excluding California) is where 5.7 percent of MBAs found work and a median salary of $142,800.

Nearly 11 percent of UCLA MBAs headed abroad for work. Just over six percent headed to Asia and nearly four percent settled in Latin America. These graduates reported median salaries of $105,000 and $79,200, respectively.
