I just did an interview with an alumni. Very professional and down to earth. The interview was one-hour long. I was questioned for the first 30 minutes, and after that she opened up the floor to questions and informal discussions.
- Can you tell me about your professional experience?
- Why MBA?
- Why now?
- Why Chicago?
- ST and LT goals?
- I want to get to know more about your background. Can you tell me about your personality(strength+weakness) and hobbies?
- Leadership experience
- Any dilemmas I experienced when working in multinational organization?
- Anything you wish to mention?
She let me guide the interview freely. In the last 30 minutes, I almost felt like I was interviewing her back, because I really wanted to get to know what her motivations were to do the mba. When I asked her how many interviews she has already done, she said 7-8, much more than I had expected! Hoping hoping for a good result…
